Creator’s Hands is dedicated to letting our light shine for Jesus as we use our God given crafting skills to knit, crochet, quilt to make handcrafted items, such as blankets, baby items, prayer shawls, etc. We are dedicated toward making crafted items to give to others as an expression of God’s love! We hope that you can join us at our next meeting. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 6:00-9:00 pm.
It is amazing how God works through our fellowship together. Karen Sporrer edified us with several stories. She told us how God is working in France and explained how a Muslim she met in France became a Christian. The Christian Muslim was forbidden to share his faith with his brother. Therefore, when he prayed, he would pray out loud. His brother would hear the Gospel and was lead to the Lord by the work of the Holy Spirit. The next day, I met a lady who husband is very hostile to God and wants nothing to do with “religion”. He does allow her to teach their children Bible stories and bring them to church. After I told her this story about the Christian Muslin witnessing to his brother by praying out loud, she is now doing the same thing. Open his eyes and turn him from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that he may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus. Acts 26:18
So far this is how we are distributing items:
Micki Chaney is going to help make the “mug rugs” which will be placed inside the coffee mugs for visitors. Micki also designed an “arm chair catch all” for wheelchairs which would be greatly appreciated in nursing homes.
Diane Nelson- Hospital for newborn babies (first start with Menominee, then add Marinette as we get more blankets to distribute)
Marcia LaCanne -Newborn babies in MOPS Marcia had the joy of giving our first item away to Obediah in the hospital last Wednesday. Mother Erica was thrilled and very thankful. Marcia made the beautiful yellow blanket and prayed over it to bring glory to God.
Judy Demien - Bibs for children in the nursery. About 7 regular children on a Sunday
We still need someone for nursing homes and shut in to give prayer shawls and blankets.
