A D V E N T - B L E S S I N G = O P P O R T U N I T Y

On Saturday, December 6th @ 5:30 PM, North Shore Church will be hosting our 2nd annual Advent Blessing.  This is a formal dinner for the community, particularly those in difficult circumstances. The event is being coordinated to allow all ages to make an impact on others’ lives. Just like last year, our youth will be directly and significantly involved in delivering this meal.

WE SET THE CAPACITY BY HOW MUCH WE ARE WILLING TO PROVIDE

North Shore's goal is to fill the gym to capacity and serve as many people as possible.  A variety of opportunities are available for NSC to bless others through our time and generosity. The event is quickly approaching and it is important that we get a full understanding of what support North Shore is able to provide for planning purposes.  Please prayerfully consider any areas where you are able to provide assistance.  We can seat 128, how many seats we fill is up to all of us.

WAYS TO HELP

TURKEY PREP
You will roast and deliver turkey breast meat to NSC on Friday, 12/5 or Saturday morning, 12/6. The turkey should be carved and placed into a zip-lock type storage bag when delivered. We will also take any gravy starters you get with the turkey, if you have them. Some had prepared in advance, frozen, and then thawed for last years event, so time-frame is flexible.

GIFT ANGEL
We expect a good number of our guests to be children and teenagers. By being a gift angel you will pledge to sponsor one or more gifts. A team member will do the actual shopping to make sure we have an appropriate variety of age/gender appropriate gifts.

TABLE HOSTING
During the meal on 12/6, we are looking to place people from NSC as hosts at each table when possible. The duty of the host is to interact with our guests and show them the love of Christ in whatever ways you can.

MEAL SERVICE
There are other ways you can help that evening with food preparation, delivery, cleanup, childcare, etc… The behind the scenes action necessary to provide/serve the meal and help our youth, and provide childcare for those who may be hosting or serving in other roles.

If you are willing and able to help in any way, please contact Kevin Murphy, or send an email with the subject line "I'm In" to admin@nshorechurch.org.
