GUYS NIGHT OUT THIS THURSDAY

Men, mark your calendars to come join us this Thursday, April 7th from 5:00-6:30 pm for some fun and fellowship. Scott Frederiksen will be grilling ribeye steak sandwiches, and afterwards, the men will be creating a fire tornado! This will be a fun event you don't want to miss.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

CREATOR'S HANDS

If you have crafty skills that you would like to use as an outreach to our local community, Creator’s Hands would love for you to join them this Tuesday, April 5th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the downstairs dining room.

MISSIONARY VISIT THIS SUNDAY

Ben and Beth Barthelemy will be here with us this coming Sunday, April 3rd at 9:00 am in the Fireside Room.  They are currently raising funds to go to Petermaritzburg, South Africa, where Ben will be teaching at Union Bible Institute.  Come for this hour of fellowship, and hear about their ministry!

BUDGET MEETING THIS SUNDAY

There will be brief budget meeting after the service this Sunday, April 3rd.  We will be approving the 2016-2017 annual budget.  Please join us if you can!

NO SHORE ACTIVITIES NEXT WEEK

Next week is Menominee's Spring Break, and so we will be taking a week off from Shore activities (including Jr. High Youth Group) and women's Bible study.  Both will resume on Wednesday, April 6th.  Senior High Youth Group WILL meet as normal this week on Tuesday, March 29th.

NEW SERMON SERIES STARTING NEXT WEEK

Jesus is enough.   Jesus + Nothing = Everything. We do not have to add anything to our faith to make it more valuable.  The Book of Galatians clearly promotes the spiritual freedom we have in Jesus Christ.  Join us next week as we start this exciting new series.

EASTER SERVICE 2016

 

Easter Sunday is just around the corner, and we'd love to see you join us!  This is the perfect opportunity to invite friends and family, as we celebrate our risen Savior and finish up our series "Dangerous Prayers."  Come for the service at 10:00 am, but join us earlier for an Easter Brunch from 8:30-9:30 am in the Fireside Room.  We hope to see you here!

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

It's that time of year again--time to register for summer camp!  There is a scholarship fund available specifically to help send kids to camp and benefit from this important and valuable ministry.  To apply, simply submit your child's name, grade,  and the camp they'd like to go to with dates and cost.  We will keep you updated on how much we are able to help provide.

"WOMEN OF THE WORD" STUDY UPDATE

Just a reminder that there is no women's study this week.  Classes will resume on Wednesday, March 16th at 6:30 pm and on Thursday, March 17th at 9:00 am.  

NO MOPS THIS WEEK

Hey, moms!  Don't forget that MOPS is cancelled this coming Tuesday, March 8th.  We will see you all at our next session on Tuesday, March 22nd!

WEDNESDAYS AT THE SHORE CELEBRATION

If you've served at The Shore at any point during this fall or current session, you are invited to a volunteer celebration this Wednesday, March 9th from 6:00-7:30 pm.  You are an invaluable part of this important ministry, and we want to say thank you for giving so freely of your time and gifts! 

Join us for pizza and games, and a fun evening of fellowship.  Feel free to bring along any games you have that you'd like to play.  Kids are welcome!  We will also be showing a movie for them.

Please let us know by Monday, March 7th if you plan on attending so we can get a count for food.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church office.

FITNESS CLASSES RESUME THIS WEEK

Fitness classes resume this week at NSC!  These include: Zumba on Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:00 pm, free Zumba on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am, TRX on Tuesday evenings at both 4:30 and 5:30 pm, Core Conditioning on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am, and Senior Stretch on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am.
