This month's Guys Night Out will take place this Thursday, May 5th from 5:00-6:30 pm. In light of cinco de Mayo festivities, come enjoy our spin on this holiday with Nachos for Machos! RSVP for this fun event with Scott Frederiksen at 715-938-0305.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER THIS THURSDAY

This year's National Day of Prayer will take place on Thursday, May 5th. The theme this year is "Wake Up, America." Join millions of Christians as we come together to pray for our nation and our communities. North Shore will provide a prayer room from 12:00 - 6:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Please come pray with us!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

FITNESS OPPORTUNITIES AT NSC

North Shore has partnered with fitness instructor Kristine Aretz to bring a variety of workout classes to NSC each week. She teaches TRX, a suspension strength training class, on Tuesday evenings at 4:30 & 5:30 pm. Zumba courses are Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:00 pm, as well as a FREE class on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am. She also offers two classes on Wednesday mornings. At 8:30 am, there is a Core Conditioning class, and at 9:30 am, there is a Senior Stretch class (though it's not limited to seniors!)

We invite you to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities, so they can continue to be offered! Come try out a class this week, and get your fitness on!

JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP

Wednesdays at the Shore has come to a close, but junior high youth group continues on!  Come join us this coming Wednesday, May 4th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.  Hope to see you there!

CREATOR'S HANDS

If you have crafty skills that you would like to use as an outreach to our local community or don't have any but would like to learn, Creator’s Hands would love for you to join them this Tuesday, May 3rd from 6:00-8:00 pm in the downstairs dining room.

SENIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP MOVED TO FRIDAY THIS WEEK

Elevate Senior High Youth Group has been moved from Tuesday, May 3rd to Friday, May 6th this week, and will be having a fun night out!  Come meet us at the Mariner Theatre in Marinette no later than 5:00 pm.  We will be catching the 5:30 viewing of "Captain America: Civil War."  Tickets are sure to go quickly, so please do come early or be sure to buy your tickets in advance.  We will then head to Hardees to hang out after, so be sure to bring enough money for the $7 ticket and for something to eat after.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE STARTS THIS SUNDAY!

Come join us as we kick off our ultimate frisbee season this coming Sunday, May 1st at 5:00 pm at the Menominee Band Shell.  This is a great opportunity to reach out to people in your life you'd like to invest in and invite them!  Ultimate frisbee will be every Sunday evening, with the after party at the Albrechts starting after Memorial Day.  Come join the fun!

NEW GALATIANS STUDY BEGINNING

This week was the first week of a new Bible study on the book of Galatians, and it's not too late to join!  If you are interested in digging deep into the Word and connecting with others in fellowship, please join one of the studies this Wednesday, April 27th.  The morning session meets at 10:30 am, and the evening session meets at 6:30 pm.  This is a study you seriously don't want to miss!

NEW GALATIANS STUDY STARTING NEXT WEEK

If you want to learn how to truly study the Bible and increase your understanding and literacy, our new study in the book of Galatians might be the perfect fit for you!  We welcome anyone, men and women, at any level of Biblical knowledge to partake in this study and be blessed by the Word of God.

This study will use the methods found in Jen Wilkin's book, "Women of the Word" to study the text, just as the women's study in Philippians did.  

The new study starts Wednesday, April 20th!  The morning session meets at 9:00 am, and the evening session meets at 6:30 pm.  If you are interested in signing up, please fill out the insert in this Sunday's bulletin, or contact the church office at 906-863-3212.  Any questions?  Please call Beth Horvath at 989-859-9030.  We hope to see you there!
