WATER FRONT SERVICE ON AUGUST 7TH

Our annual church service for Menominee’s Waterfront Festival will take place at 10 am next Sunday, August 7th at the band shell. This is a great service, with a wonderful opportunity for outreach in our community. Prayerfully consider who you could invite to join us. Bring a lawn chair, and in the case of inclement weather, meet at the church. We hope to see you there!

Join us for the start of our new series "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" this Sunday, July 31st, as we continue our idea of intentional blessing our neighbors. This will be a series you don't want to miss!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) & 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

If you have crafty skills that you would like to use as an outreach to our local community or don't have any but would like to learn, Creator’s Hands would love for you to join them this Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:00-8:00 pm in the downstairs dining room.

"CHILDREN OF THE DAY" WOMEN'S STUDY

Ladies, join us for Beth Moore's study on 1 & 2 Thessalonians, "Children of the Day", held this Wednesday, July 27th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. This is a great, in depth study of the word, with a wonderful chance to connect with other women. It has been a huge blessing already to those involved. We'd love to see you there!

NSC SEEKING NEW LIBRARIAN

NSC has a free library available for your use with a great collection of books. We are currently seeking a new librarian to oversee it and make sure it continues to run smoothly. This would include things like re-shelving & organization and classifying new books and materials. If you’re a book lover and appreciate a great library space, we are looking for you! ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Come join us this coming Sunday, July 24th at 5:00 pm at the Menominee Band Shell for ultimate frisbee. This is a great opportunity to reach out to people in your life you'd like to invest in and invite them! Ultimate frisbee will be every Sunday evening, with an after party at the Albrechts starting at 7:00 pm. Come join the fun!

NURSERY MEETING THIS SUNDAY

Nursery volunteers, thank you for your continued dedication to our kids and our kids programming! We'd like to meet for a brief meeting this Sunday, July 24th following the service to discuss a few policy changes and upcoming events. Please make it if you can! FREE ZUMBA THIS SATURDAY, JULY 16TH - BRING A TREAT!

For this Saturday's FREE Zumba class, our instructor Kristine Aretz will be taking a collection for Abundant Life Homeless Shelter. In her words: "I recently discovered that the residence of the Menominee homeless shelter rarely drink anything other than water at their meals. Juice is a luxury and coffee is rare. I am asking that any donation of juice or coffee be dropped off at this Saturday's Zumba class and I will deliver the items to the shelter after class. Of course, staying and Zumba-ing with us is the bonus!" Please come if you can! And help give to a wonderful cause.

CITY OF MENOMINEE FAMILY FUN NIGHT

The City of Menominee will host a Family Fun Night at the marina this coming Wednesday, July 20th at 5:00 pm. There will be a movie shown and other fun activities will be offered. The city has asked for 10 NSC volunteers to set up movie equipment and offer snacks. If you’re able to take part in this investment in our community, please let us know by contacting the church office at office@nshorechurch.org.

VBS MEETING THIS SUNDAY

Thank you to those of you who have signed up to help with this year's VBS, Praise!  We are so excited for this year and what God is going to do.  This coming Sunday, July 17th, there will be a very short meeting following the service to distribute handouts and give a bit of information.  If you are signed up to help, please try to make it!  If you haven't signed up yet, but would like to help, we still have several volunteer openings!  Contact the church office at office@nshorechurch.org for more information.

Jeff and his wife Jessica are serving at UW-Eau Claire with the Navigators, but are planning a move to Ottawa, Canada! This will be a message you don’t want to miss.
