OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH

One of the ways we can show our support to Pastor Travis, Lisa and their family is to have individuals/families commit to pray for the Albrecht’s for one or more days in the month of October. The goal is to have every day in October bathed in prayer for them. There is a calendar setup in the foyer at the Welcome Center for you to write in your name on the day you will set aside to specifically pray for them. We encourage you to talk to them ahead of the day you pick to find out any specific prayer needs that you can bring to the Lord on their behalf.

Some more suggestions to show our support in October; taking Pastor/Lisa out for a cup of coffee or tea, invite them to lunch or dinner, take them a meal, surprise the family with a special dessert or any other gift that comes to mind.

Pastors and their families have day-to-day struggles, pressures and stress just like all of us. Especially during the month of October let us reach out and show them how much they mean to us, how much they have impacted North Shore and our lives by answering the call to move here.

The month of October is set aside as a special month to recognize the importance of pastors and their families but these suggestions can be used any time of the year!
