FOOD PANTRY AT NSC

Did you know there's a food pantry available here at NSC?  If you or anyone you know is in need of assistance, please contact the church office so we can help provide some items.   We are also always looking for donations, so we can continue to help families in need!  Simply leave non-perishable items (canned or boxed foods) in the donation basket in the church foyer.  For questions regarding the food pantry, or to let us know of someone in need, please call the church office at 906.863.3212.

CHURCH DIRECTORY APP

It's now easier than ever to access our church directory through the Instant Church Directory app!  The app is available for Apple, Android, or Kindle Fire.  You can search for other members, and then email, call, or text - all from within the app.  To start, go to your device's app store and search for Instant Church Directory.  Enter your email as it's listed in the directory.  Enter the assigned password into the app to begin syncing, and you're done!  For questions or help getting this set up, contact the church office at office@nshorechurch.org.

SPOROS AND KAIROS YOUTH GROUPS

Youth, if you are between the ages of 5th—8th grade or 9th —12th grade, come join us for Sporos (Jr. High) and Kairos (Sr. High) youth group this coming Wednesday, April 5th from 6:00-7:30 pm.  Enjoy a great night with a lesson, worship, and fun games!  For questions regarding youth or children’s ministries, please contact Bethany Salzman at youth@nshorechurch.org.

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.” (Jam. 5:13). Join us as we gather together to pray on Wednesday nights in the sanctuary at 6:00 pm. Ladies, there is also a prayer gathering for you on Thursday afternoons at 12:00 pm. Please join us!

CRAFTING TOGETHER ON FRIDAY, APRIL 7TH

An exciting new event will be happening the first Friday of every month at NSC. The ladies of Creator's Hands will be hosting a craft night where everyone is invited to bring their craft projects to work on. If you don't have a craft, but would like to learn one, there will be supplies and mentors to help you. Occasionally, there will be a special speaker to demonstrate a craft. This meeting will be called Crafting Together and will replace the first Tuesday of the month Creator's Hands meeting. The third Tuesday of CH will continue. This is the perfect time to invite a friend, neighbor, daughters, or grandchild to attend.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) & 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

PASTOR TRAVIS OUT OF OFFICE

Pastor Travis will be out of the office March 27th - April 1st.  Office hours will be the same as usual, and any questions can be directed to Kim.

CREATOR'S HANDS

If you have crafty skills that you would like to use as an outreach to our local community or don't have any but would like to learn, Creator’s Hands would love for you to join them this Tuesday, March 21st from 6:00-8:00 pm in the downstairs dining room.

Creationist Carl Kerby will be speaking at Twin City Baptist this coming Sunday, March 19th (9:30 am, 10:30 am & 6:00 pm), and on Monday the 20th, Tuesday the 21st, and Wednesday the 22nd at 6:30 pm. Carl is one of the founding board members of Answers in Genesis, and served there for over 15 years before founding Reasons for Hope (Find out more information by clicking here.) Carl is a much sought after speaker in the U.S. and abroad, and has been described by Answers in Genesis as one of their most dynamic lecturers on the book of Genesis. EASTER TULIPS AND LILIES

Help us decorate North Shore for Easter! Easter lilies and tulips are for sale at the Welcome Center through Peshtigo Stone and Garden. They are 12.50 each and come in a variety of colors. All the flowers will be delivered to church before Easter, and after the service, they are yours to take! The last Sunday to purchase will be this Sunday, March 12th.
