North Shore's annual church picnic will be held Sunday, August 13th after service.  If you could help with set up/tear down or kitchen help, please contact the office.

If you would like a copy of Pastor Duncan's sermon manuscripts, they will be available on Sundays at the Welcome Center or during the week from the office.  An electronic copy can also be emailed by contacting Kim at office@nshorechurch.org.

QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING & VBS MEETING THIS SUNDAY

Please join us this Sunday, July 30th after the service for a quarterly business meeting.  We will be giving financial updates and discussing church business.  

VBS helpers, please join us directly before the business meeting for a brief VBS meeting.  Allisen Shawver will be giving out this year's information packet, as well as taking down shirt sizes. Hope to see you there!

WATERFRONT SERVICE NEXT SUNDAY, AUGUST 6TH

Join us at the band shell next Sunday, August 6th, as we hold our service during Menominee's Waterfront Festival festivities.  This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and family!  Bring a lawn chair, and we'll see you there!  (Rain location is North Shore Church).

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) & 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

TEXAS ROADHOUSE CHURCH PROGRAM

FITNESS CLASS CHANGE

Kristine Aretz has modified her weekly schedule & location and will now be teaching Zumba on Mondays at 5 pm and Zumba on Saturday morning at 8:30, both at the UW-Marinette field house.  

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER

A new Wednesday Night Prayer format is now in place!  Pastor Duncan will be teaching from Scripture followed by a time of pray together using an updated prayer list.  This will be limited to an hour.  If you have wanted to develop your prayer life and/or you want to see God move here in powerful ways here at North Shore, please come and pray!

NSC supported missionaries Mark and Kris Crooks will be visiting this Sunday, July 23rd. They have been launching cross-cultural ministries across North America and will be sharing some of the challenges and opportunities God is giving them on the mission field. They will speak at the 9:00 Sunday School hour and give a brief update during the service.  We hope you can join us!

CREATOR'S HANDS

If you have crafty skills that you would like to use as an outreach to our local community or don't have any but would like to learn, Creator’s Hands would love for you to join them this Tuesday, July 18th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the downstairs dining room.

WORK PROJECTS AT THE SNODGRASSES

Ethan & Melody Snodgrass will be having an indoor work party at their house this Friday, the 14th, and Saturday, the 15th. There are lots of little projects such as painting/staining door trim, applying a second coat of paint to the living room, hanging door trim, retouching paint in another room, hanging trim in the kitchen, hanging curtain rods, and more. If weather permits they'll also have light yard work such as weeding and mulching a small flower garden, and applying stucco to the base of the house. Little things add up but many hands help them stay little (or go away!) :) If anyone is interested or available, please call/text Melody for directions or questions at 715-938-8963. They will have some brats and hamburgers and baked beans, but anyone is welcome to bring a small cookout dish to share.

INTERIM PASTOR NEEDS

At last Sunday's business meeting, members unanimously voted to call Duncan Ross as our interim pastor.  He will begin on Wednesday, July 12th.  Duncan and his wife live in Duluth, and he will have an apartment on 22nd Avenue during the part of the week that he is in town.  

The elders are asking for a few key items to help furnish the apartment.  They include:
- A bed (preferably a queen)
- 2 Side tables & lamp
- Desk & lamp & Desk Chair
- Love seat and/or living room chair
- Floor lamp
- Dresser
- Various kitchen utensils

CRAFTING TOGETHER THIS FRIDAY, JULY 7TH

An exciting new event will be happening the first Friday of every month at NSC. The ladies of Creator's Hands will be hosting a craft night where everyone is invited to bring their craft projects to work on. If you don't have a craft, but would like to learn one, there will be supplies and mentors to help you. Occasionally, there will be a special speaker to demonstrate a craft. This meeting will be called Crafting Together and will replace the first Tuesday of the month Creator's Hands meeting. The third Tuesday of CH will continue. This is the perfect time to invite a friend, neighbor, daughters, or grandchild to attend.
