NOVEMBER/DECEMBER MSP SCHEDULE FINALIZED

The November/December MSP Volunteer Schedule is now finalized and live.  If you have any questions about accessing your MSP account, please check with your ministry team leader or the office.  Printed schedules are also available on the information table in the foyer.  Thank you for your service!

TRUNK OR TREAT & CHILI COOK-OFF THIS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31ST

Trunk or Treat and the Chili Cook-Off will be held THIS coming Tuesday, October 31st!  We are still in need of more trunks and especially more chilis, so please let the church office know if you're able to help with either need!  

QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29TH

There will be a quarterly business meeting held this Sunday, October 29th after the service in the sanctuary.  We will be discussing church and financial updates, as well as taking a membership vote and an elder vote.  Please join us!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) & 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

MOPS/MomsNext MEETING ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH

If you are a mom and would like to connect with other moms, please come join us for our next MOPS/MomsNEXT meeting on Tuesday, October 24th from 8:45 — 11 am. TRUNK OR TREAT & CHILI COOK-OFF ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31ST


North Shore will be hosting its annual Trunk or Treat/Chili Cook-Off on Tuesday, October 31st from 6:00-8:00 pm. During this evening, not only will we provide a safe place for families to bring their kids to get candy and other goodies, but indoors, there will be hot chili to fill your belly, along with a huge bounce house to keep the kids busy and warm. 

We could use your help with this fantastic outreach event! Decorate your trunk and hand out candy, set up a stand inside, bring your best chili to enter in the cook off contest, or help with set up and tear down! To sign up to help in any way, fill out the bulletin found in this Sunday's bulletin, or contact the church office.

MISSIONARY VISIT THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22ND

Shawn and Becca Hill, missionaries to Togo, Africa, will be visiting North Shore this Sunday, October 22nd. They will give a brief overview of their ministry during the service, with a more detailed presentation after in the Fireside Room. Please join us to hear of their exciting mission to Togo!

2ND SEASONS HOPE BENEFIT ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20TH

Ardan James, the Animated Illusionist will be putting on a hilarious show this coming Friday, October 20th at Little River Country Club in Marinette.  He has the hilarious expressions of Mr. Bean, the creativity of Buster Keaton, the agility of Dick Van Dyke, the spontaneity of Robin Williams, the gentleness of Red Skeleton, all rolled into one fantastic magician!  The proceeds will benefit 2nd Seasons Hope, a biblically based charity that helps support children by providing financial assistance to children and their families for urgent cares and needs.

Tickets are available at Jack's Fresh Market, or at the door.  The doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00.  For more information about 2nd Seasons or the event, click here .

MISSIONARY VISIT ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22ND

WOMEN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL "YOUR POWERFUL PRAYERS"

Ladies, it's not too late to join the women's Sunday School class on Susie Larson's book, "Your Powerful Prayers."  Come join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the Downstairs Dining room for this video-based series and a great time of discussion, fellowship, and prayer.  For questions regarding this study, contact Marcia LaCanne at 715.587.1652.

MISSIONS CARE TEAM MEETING THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8TH

The Missions Care Team will meet this coming Sunday, October 8th at 9:00 am in the library.  Anyone interested in missions is encouraged to attend!

CRAFTING TOGETHER THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6TH

Come join the ladies of Creator's Hands as they host a craft night called "Crafting Together" where everyone is invited to bring their craft projects to work on. If you don't have a craft, but would like to learn one, there will be supplies and mentors to help you. Occasionally, there is a special speaker to demonstrate a craft. This is the perfect time to invite a friend, neighbor, daughters, or grandchild to attend. Crafting Together meets the first Friday of the month.
