LADIES' NAHUM STUDY STARTS MAY 6 & 8

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER ON MAY 2ND

This year’s National Day of Prayer is on Thursday, May 2nd, with the theme, “Love One Another.” Here at North Shore, we will be hosting a prayer event from 12:00-6:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Come at any point for as long as you’d like as we come together to pray for our communities, our leaders, our nation, and more. For questions on this event, see Diane Nelson.

ANNUAL MEETING THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 28TH

This Sunday after the service is this year's annual meeting.  We will be discussing church finances and updates and what the Lord has been doing at North Shore in this past year.  Please join us!

MUGS & MUFFINS THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 27TH

Ladies and young ladies, just a reminder that Mugs & Muffins is THIS Saturday, April 27th!  We will be hearing a testimony from Barb Smith and enjoying a time of fellowship together.  Bring your favorite mug, and we'll fill it and provide the goodies!  This is a great opportunity to invite along a friend!  For questions on this event, please see a member of the Women's Ministry Team (Beth Horvath, Joelle Mueller, Delight Murphy, Barb Wells, or Kim Frederiksen).

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:30 pm (large group) & 7:30 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

SHORT TERM HOUSING OPPORTUNITY

If anyone knows of any short term housing possibilities, please contact the church office!  A college student from Houghton will be in our area for the summer for work, and we were contacted by his pastor to see if we might know of any opportunities.  He has a place at the end of May; it would only need to be for the beginning of his job (May 5th - May 24th).  Thanks in advance for the help!

SERVING NEEDS

We are looking for some more baristas and bakers to add to our Welcome Center, as well as some tech-savvy people to help out with PowerPoint on Sunday mornings!  If you are interested in either opportunity, please contact the church office or Stacy Thompson at 906.424.0771.

Moms, are you looking for a place to connect and grow? Come join us for our moms group, Mom's Rally, this coming Tuesday, April 23rd from 9:00-11:00 am. A great children's program is provided! WOMEN'S MINISTRY 'MAKE & TAKE' BRACELET EVENT ON TUESDAY, APRIL 9TH

Ladies and young ladies, come join us for the next Women’s Ministry Make & Take event!  We will be making a beautiful version of the Jesus bracelet (see Brenda Levin for an example or questions). The event will be on Tuesday, April 9th and will be offered two different times. One will be during the Mom’s Rally meeting time from 9:00-11:00 am, and the other will be in the evening from 6:30-7:30 pm.  The cost of this event is $5 for the supplies (which can be brought to the event or given in the offering).  This is a great opportunity to invite the ladies in your life to a fun time of fellowship!  We’d love to have you join us!  If interested in signing up, please fill out the insert in this Sunday's bulletin and put it in the offering plate or in the mail slot outside the church office.  For questions regarding this event, please contact Delight Murphy (715.923.2203) or Rebbecca Peanosky (815.980.0917).  

BENEVOLENT OFFERING THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 7TH

This Sunday (and every first Sunday of the month), we will be taking our benevolent offering.  This special fund serves to help those in both our church body and community with extra financial burdens that have come their way.  If you are interested in giving to this fund, please mark your contribution as "benevolence" so it can be correctly allocated.  Thank you!

CRAFTING TOGETHER THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 5TH

Come join the ladies of Creator's Hands as they host a craft night called "Crafting Together" where everyone is invited to bring their craft projects to work on. If you don't have a craft, but would like to learn one, there will be supplies and mentors to help you. Occasionally, there will be a special speaker to demonstrate a craft. This is the perfect time to invite a friend, neighbor, daughter, or grandchild to attend. Crafting Together meets the first Friday of the month.
