WOMEN'S 1 PETER STUDY STARTS ON SEPTEMBER 9TH & 11TH

'THE GOSPEL PROJECT' SUNDAY SCHOOL LAUNCHES ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH

The Gospel Project is our Sunday School for ages 4k-Senior High, which takes participants through each story in the Bible, showing them how each one points to Christ.  This wonderful program will resume on Sunday, September 8th!  For questions, please contact Bethany Salzman at 715-551-1156.

MOM'S RALLY KICKS OFF ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH

The 2019/2020 year for Mom’s Rally will kick off on Tuesday, September 10th!  Rally is a space where moms can come to recover, regroup, reassemble, reform, and reunite! The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, from 9:00-11:00 am.  There is also a great kids program offered!  For more information, like the Facebook page “NSC Mom’s Rally” or contact Rebbecca Peanosky at 815.980.0917.

SPOROS & KAIROS FALL KICK OFF ON AUGUST 28TH

Youth, ages 6th-12th grade, come join us for Sporos & Kairos youth group which meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm. This Wednesday, August 28th, will be our fall kick off! For questions about youth group, please contact Bethany Salzman at 715-551-1156.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step program meeting Thursday nights at 6:00 pm (large group) & 7:00 pm (optional small group) that helps those who struggle with habits such as alcoholism, divorce, abuses of all kinds, co-dependency, domestic violence, rage, drug addiction, mental health, sexual addiction, food addictions, physical struggles or disease, death of a loved one and more. As we grow spiritually and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and others.

EVENING PRAYER ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21ST

Come join us on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm as we learn and pray together. Pastor Duncan teaches from Scripture followed by a time of praying together using a prayer list. It is limited to an hour. If you have wanted to develop your prayer life and/or you want to see God move here in powerful ways here at North Shore, please come and pray!

CREATOR'S HANDS THIS TUESDAY, AUGUST 20TH

Creator’s Hands' ministry is to create items of need within the community and use them as a tool to share God’s love. Whether you would like to learn a crafting skill, use your talents in ministry, or be with other like-minded ladies, all are welcome.  Creator’s Hands meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 6:00-8:00 pm, in the basement of the Church, and will be meeting this Tuesday, August 20th. MEN'S FISHING DERBY THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 17TH

North Shore's 2nd annual men's fishing derby will take place this Saturday, August 17th at 6:00 am at the Menekaunee boat launch.  A light lunch will follow.  If interested in signing up, please contact a member of the Men's Ministry team (Brian Fowler, Andy Fendryk, Jerry Hinch, Justin Salzman, or Matt Philibeck).

APARTMENT ITEMS NEEDED

We are looking for a few household items for a woman in our community.  If anyone has an extra queen size bed (frame, mattress, and box spring), tv, washing machine, couch, recliner, or kitchen table and chairs, please contact the church office.  They would be greatly appreciated!

BENEVOLENT OFFERING THIS SUNDAY

This Sunday, August 11th, we will be taking our benevolent offering.  This fund serves to help those in and out of our church body with unexpected financial burdens.  If you wish to give, please mark your giving as "benevolence" so it can be allocated correctly.  Thank you!

CELEBRATION SUNDAY THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 11TH

Come join us for Celebration Sunday this Sunday, August 11th!  First, we will be having our annual church picnic following the service.  Pulled pork sandwiches and ice cream will be provided.  Please sign up here to let us know what side dish you can bring to help round out the meal.  If you have any issues signing up, please contact Sue Mortinson or Beth Horvath.

Secondly, we will be having a baptism service following the picnic at 1:00 pm at Henes Park.  Congratulations to Greg Horvath, Josh Brown, and Nicole Brown on getting baptized!

Third, stick with us for our Faith in Action and VBS kickoff at 6:00 pm!  It will be a fun and exciting week to be a part of!

COMMUNION & BENEVOLENCE OFFERING ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 11TH

Both communion and our benevolent offering (which normally take place the first Sunday of the month) will be shifted to Sunday, August 11th because of our Waterfront Service.

WATERFRONT SERVICE THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 4TH

Come join us this Sunday, August 4th as we take our service down to the waterfront!  We will be meeting at 10:00 am.  Bring a lawn chair and some friends, and come join us for worship and fellowship!
