Creator’s Hands November 18th Newsletter

Creator’s Hands is dedicated to letting our light shine for Jesus as we use our God given crafting skills to knit, crochet, quilt to make handcrafted items, such as blankets, baby items, prayer shawls, etc for the purpose of fulfilling the needs of the community. We are dedicated toward making crafted items to give to others as an expression of God’s love! We hope that you can join us at our next meeting. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 6-8pm but the doors will be opened at 5:30 in the Fireside room. Anyone wishing to pray with MOMS IN PRAYER is invited to come to the library from 5:30 to 6.

The God of Miracles. “Lord, I praise You because You are the God who performs miracles; You display Your power among the peoples” (Psalm 77:14).

The administrator of Menominee Care Center, Carol, called Barb to request we make 6 round pillows for people in wheel chairs. Barb got right on it and delivered the pillows

the following week. Barb also made 17 pillows and 26 catheter/walker caddies which will be delivered to the LutherHome in the future. She also sewed 38 burp cloths for the newborns at BAMC. She is the sewing whizz!!!!

Diane will be looking into have our tags made professionally. It will be cheaper than buying the card stock and printing them ourselves.

Judy brought in a BIG bag on ribbons which we will use on those 38 burp cloths as we package them for delivery! She also completes several blankets for the newborns.

Marcia turned in a security blanket and is working on another one. With all the blankets and burp cloths turned in, we probably have enough for December and January!!!

Judy and Diane were sewing for the last 30 minutes when Gabe, Garret, and Grayson joined them. They were full of questions and high spirits. Our hearts were blessed to have such active children to entertain us.

Marcia surprised Marshall with a blanket from Creator’s Hands. He wasn’t quite sure what to think of it, but Marcia explained it was a gift from the church and it would keep him warm this winter.

A beautiful pink baby blanket, donated by Joelle Mueller, was given to Lael Snow to celebrate the birth of her daughter, Trinity. Lael was thrilled with the blanket and very appreciate of the gift.

The storage closet looks much better after Barb and Diane cleaned it and tried to organize it. There were several items that we can distribute before Christmas to those in need.
