This winter, North Shore Church received a generous energy savings grant from Michigan Interfaith Power and Light. They installed LED exits signs, exterior lights, and an exterior boiler temperature adjuster...totaling several hundred dollars and estimated to save North Shore Church over $500 a year in energy savings.
In return, North Shore Church is co-hosting an energy efficiency workshop with Grace Episcopal Church. The event is meant to share easy no cost & low cost energy efficiency tips to use at home. It will also make attendees aware of the various energy efficiency rebates available locally. These rebates are paid for by all Michigan utility customers on their monthly bills, so it is important to know how to use them.
The event is FREE, but requires an RSVP. RSVP by calling NSC office (906) 863-3212 OR emailing office@nshorechurch.org OR online at www.miipl.org/workshops
Monday, June 22. 6:30PM at North Shore Church- 511 47th Ave.
Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
