"Crafting Together" meets the first Friday of the month in the downstairs dining room. October's gathering will feature the fun activity of making dryer balls.
Dryer balls have become popular because they reduce static, wrinkles, and drying time. Best of all, they eliminate dryer sheets and are chemical free since they are made from 100% wool. The dryer balls are just tossed in the dryer with the clothes. Essential oils can be added for a scent.
A $5 fee will cover the cost of the wool to make 3 dryer balls. Instructions will be given on how to make the balls and felt them. Everyone will be able to wind the balls during the class and bring them home to felt (shrink the wool to make a solid ball).
To help prepare supplies, please register by contacting Diane Nelson or by filling out the insert in this week's bulletin. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend and enjoy a girls night out.
"Crafting Together" will take place next Friday, October 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Contact Diane Nelson with any questions at nelsond12@new.rr.com or 248.828.3213.
